Place and Configure Hotspots
Place scene links, info hotspots and media hotspots on a panorama, then tune their labels, triggers and target scenes.
You will learn the four hotspot types Mango360 supports and the difference between them: where they appear, what they open and how they behave when a visitor clicks them in a tour.
The hotspot types
Choose the type in the toolbar before you click on the panorama. The marker follows the cursor and drops where you click. Every hotspot then appears in the properties panel, where you set its label, its size and, for a scene link, the destination.
- Scene link — jumps the viewer to another scene, with an optional transition.
- Info hotspot — opens a panel with a title, text and an optional image.
- Media hotspot — opens a video or an audio player next to the panorama.
- CTA button — a button that opens a form, a link or a booking widget.
Configure the behaviour
- Select the hotspot in the canvas to open its settings.
- Set the label to the action, for example Enter the living room.
- For a scene link, pick the target scene and a transition time in seconds.
- For an info hotspot, add the text and the image, then decide whether it opens on click or on hover.
Keep hotspots out of the lower third of the panorama, where the viewer interface sits. A marker placed there is hidden behind the navigation bar on mobile screens.
Check on a phone
Preview the tour on a phone before you publish. Marker sizes scale with the panorama, so a hotspot that reads well on a desktop screen can be too small to tap on a phone. Increase the size of the critical ones and test again.
