Create Your Account and First Project

Set up a Mango360 account, choose a plan and open your first project so you can start building a 360 tour in minutes.

By the end of this lesson you have a verified Mango360 account and an empty project ready for its first panorama. The whole setup takes about five minutes, and every step below names the exact control you are looking for.

Create the account

Open the sign-up page and pick the Free plan to start without a card. Enter your name and a work e-mail, set a password and confirm the address from the message we send. Later you can move the project to a Pro or Business organisation without re-uploading anything.

  1. Open the sign-up page and select the Free plan.
  2. Enter your name, a work e-mail and a password of at least eight characters.
  3. Open the verification message and follow the link to activate the account.
  4. Sign in and choose a display name that will appear in the audit log.

Create the first project

A project holds one tour, its panoramas and its branding. Name it after the place you are documenting, because the name ends up in the URL of the published tour and a short descriptive name is easier to share than a generic one.

  1. In the Projects list, choose New project.
  2. Enter a name such as Villa Aurora Lobby and pick the default language of the tour.
  3. Choose the unit system: Meter for floor plans and room measurements, Degree if you plan to place scenes by geographic coordinates.
  4. Open the project and confirm that the editor loads with an empty scene list.

Who owns it

The account you just created is the Owner of the project. Owners can invite Admins and Editors by e-mail, and every change inside the project is written to the audit log from this moment on.
