Lead Forms & Analytics

How do I read the tour analytics?

Check opens, scene dwell time, hotspot clicks and drop-off, filter by date and export the numbers as a CSV file.

The analytics section shows how visitors move through a tour. It counts opens, measures how long they stay in each scene and records every hotspot click, so you can see where attention goes.

Open the report

  1. Open the Tours section and select a published tour.
  2. Switch to the Analytics tab.
  3. Set the date range in the filter above the report and wait for the recalculation.

The report is built per published version, so a tour with three versions shows three separate lines in the chart. To compare two periods, switch the date range and keep the same filters; to compare two versions, open each one in turn and write the numbers down, because the export follows the version you are looking at. The data is updated continuously, so numbers from today keep growing until the day is over. Lead data sits next to the engagement numbers: a form that produced a submission also appears as a hotspot click, so the two are easy to compare.

Read the numbers

  • Opens is the number of times the tour was opened in the selected period.
  • Dwell time is the average time a visitor spends in each scene.
  • Hotspot clicks show which cards, videos and forms are actually used.
  • Drop-off marks the scene where most visitors leave the tour.

Export

Use Export CSV to download the figures for a date range. The file contains the same numbers the report shows, and it is the simplest way to hand a monthly report to a colleague.

Analytics are counted per published version. A visitor who opens the tour twice in one session is counted once, so compare periods of the same length rather than mixing a week with a month.
