How do I publish a tour and share a link?
Move a draft to an immutable published version, then share the tour by link, QR code or embed code on any website.
Publishing freezes the current draft into a published version. Visitors always see a published version, so you can keep editing the draft afterwards without changing what the public sees.
Publish the tour
- Open the project and select Project → Publish.
- Review the checklist: scenes ready, hotspots placed, branding applied.
- Choose the visibility — public, unlisted or private.
- Select Publish and wait for the confirmation; the version is then live.
The checklist in the publish dialog is generated from the project itself: it lists scenes that are still processing, hotspots that point to a missing scene and texts that are empty in one of the languages. Resolve the marked items and publish again. A published version cannot be edited afterwards, so every later change goes into the draft and needs a new version of its own. The link and the QR code keep working when a new version is published: a visitor lands on the current published version, not on the draft. If different people should see different tours, split them into separate tours rather than separate passwords — that keeps the history readable.
Share it
The publish dialog returns a link to the tour and a QR code you can download as a PNG. The QR code always points to the public page, so a password-protected tour still asks for the password after the scan.
Versions
- Project → Versions lists every published version with its date and author.
- Restore rolls the published version back to an earlier one within seconds.
- The draft is untouched by a rollback, so your next edits stay in place.
A published version is immutable. If a visitor's link stops working, check the visibility setting first: an unlisted or private tour shows a not-found page to anyone outside the allow-list.
